Job Description: Field Quality Engineer at Maruti Suzuki Careers

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Field Quality Engineer to join our team at Maruti Suzuki Careers. As a Field Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services in the field, identifying and resolving quality issues, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Key Responsibilities

Quality Assurance: Conduct regular field visits to dealerships, service centers, and customer locations to monitor and evaluate the quality of our products and services. Identify and document quality issues, and develop corrective action plans to resolve them.

Issue Resolution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, engineering, and customer service, to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Ensure that all quality issues are properly documented and tracked to closure.

Quality Improvement: Analyze quality data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to reduce defects, improve customer satisfaction, and enhance overall product quality.

Training and Development: Provide training and guidance to dealership personnel, service center technicians, and other stakeholders on quality procedures, standards, and best practices.

Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with company quality policies, procedures, and standards. Participate in internal and external audits to ensure adherence to quality management system requirements.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a related field, preferably in the automotive industry.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of quality management principles, tools, and techniques
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer focus and commitment to quality
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software
