Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Laboratory Technician to join our team at Siemens Healthineers. As a Medical Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing laboratory tests and procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care and ensure accurate and timely test results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including blood tests, urinalyses, and microbiological cultures
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including automated analyzers and microscopes
• Prepare and process patient samples for testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and aliquoting
• Analyze test results and report abnormalities to healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of test results and quality control data
• Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure laboratory accuracy and precision
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to resolve issues and improve patient care
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and methodologies in laboratory testing

Requirements:

• Associate’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field
• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Clinical Laboratory Technician (CLT)
• 1-2 years of experience in a clinical laboratory setting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and regulations
